Frequently Asked Question
What is hypnotherapy and how does it work?
Hypnotherapy is a scientifically proven approach that uses focused attention, guided relaxation, and positive suggestion to help you achieve lasting change. It works by engaging your unconscious mind—the part responsible for habits, emotions, and automatic responses—to create new patterns and solutions.
Will I lose control or reveal secrets under hypnosis?
Absolutely not. Hypnosis is a state of increased focus and control, not mind control. You remain aware and in charge at all times. Many clients are surprised to find that they remember everything and can choose what to share or keep private.
Is hypnotherapy safe?
Yes. When practiced by a certified professional, hypnotherapy is safe and has no negative side effects. My priority is your safety and comfort—sessions are structured to prevent any distress, and you’ll always have the ability to pause or stop.
What issues can hypnotherapy help with?
I work with a wide range of concerns, including quitting smoking, anxiety and panic, trauma and PTSD, OCD, focus issues, writer’s block, and more. If you’re unsure if your issue is suitable, just ask—I’m happy to advise.
Are online sessions as effective as in-person sessions?
Yes. My clients worldwide achieve the same results online as in person. The process is adapted for comfort and privacy, and all you need is a quiet space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.
Is my information confidential?
Absolutely. All sessions are private and confidential. I adhere to strict ethical standards and never share your information without your consent.
How do I book a session or training?
You can easily book a free discovery call or a session directly through my website’s scheduling page. For trainings, registration is also handled online.
What are your fees and payment options?
Due to the nature and complexity of the issues I work with, every case is unique and fees are determined individually during our pre-talk. I offer a sliding scale to make hypnotherapy accessible to clients from all walks of life. My goal is to ensure everyone who truly wants help can receive it. However, I balance my practice between paying clients, clients who pay less, and a few pro-bono cases each month—so while I strive to help as many as possible, I cannot offer free or heavily discounted sessions to everyone.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, I do. Payment plans are available for both sessions and trainings. We will always find a solution that fits your situation, because getting help should never be a matter of money. If you are proactive—such as referring others—you can also reduce your own tuition, and for the rest we can discuss a payment plan that works for you.
What happens during a typical session?
We start with a conversation to clarify your goals and ensure you’re ready for change. The hypnotherapy itself is tailored to your needs and may include guided relaxation, focused conversation, and specific techniques for your issue. Afterward, we review your experience and next steps.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies. Many clients see significant results in just one session, especially for quitting smoking. For other issues, 1–3 sessions are typical. We’ll discuss your goals and create a plan that fits your needs.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Life happens! Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee, but I always try to be understanding.
How does your quit smoking program work?
My smoking cessation protocol is highly effective and comes with a guarantee: you receive free follow-ups until you’re smoke-free (rarely needed). The session uses a calming routine, practical exercises, and personalized recordings to support your success.
Can hypnotherapy help with trauma or PTSD?
Yes, I specialize in trauma and PTSD, including military and abuse survivors. Sessions are carefully structured for safety, using gentle, non-intrusive techniques that allow you to process experiences without reliving them. Your comfort and control are always prioritized.
Do you work with teens or younger clients?
Yes, I work with teens from the age of 15 and, in specific cases, from the age of 14. For anyone under 18, written parental consent is required before starting hypnotherapy. If you’re a parent or a teen interested in sessions, please contact me directly to discuss your needs and ensure the best approach.
What if I’m unsure about what I want to change?
It’s important that you’re certain about your goal before starting hypnotherapy. If you’re undecided, I recommend taking some time to reflect and returning when you’re ready. This ensures the best results.
What if I have a severe or complex issue?
Hypnotherapy is highly effective for many emotional and behavioral challenges, but there are situations where it is not appropriate or effective. For example, hypnotherapy is generally not suitable for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (especially when there are significant communication or comprehension difficulties) or Intellectual Disability (specifically, an IQ below 70). In these cases, traditional hypnotherapeutic approaches are not effective. For most other complex issues—including trauma, anxiety, and habit change—I have extensive experience and will always discuss your needs openly to ensure the best fit. If hypnotherapy isn’t right for you, I’ll recommend alternatives or a referral.
Can hypnotherapy help with my pain?
Yes, absolutely—hypnotherapy is a wonderful and powerful way to manage pain, and in some cases, can even help you become completely pain-free. Hypnosis is now used in some surgeries as the only form of anesthesia, and I use similar techniques and principles. For ethical and safety reasons, I require a signed consent form from your treating physician before starting pain management sessions. You can request this form from me directly, and once it’s signed, we can work together to address your pain. Pain control is one of my specialties and passions.
Who are your trainings for?
My trainings are for anyone who wants to master the principles behind change—not just techniques. They are ideal for those who want to learn a clear framework so you know when to use which approach, removing guesswork from your work with clients. You’ll also learn how to test if the change has worked within the session itself.
What will I learn in your trainings?
You’ll learn a proven framework for transformation, how to use hypnotic language naturally, and practical techniques for nearly any client issue. Trainings include hands-on practice, clear structure, and direct feedback.
Are your certifications recognized?
Yes—my trainings are recognized by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH). While there’s no official industry accreditation, my credentials and experience are respected internationally.
What support is available after the training?
You’ll receive ongoing support, access to resources, and the option for additional mentoring or supervision. My goal is your long-term success.
How do I enroll, and what’s the schedule?
All trainings are listed on my website with detailed schedules and enrollment forms. Most are held online in small groups to ensure personal attention.
How soon will I notice results?
Most clients notice an immediate effect—often already during the session or even the pre-talk. In some cases, I use techniques that go deeper and plant a seed for change, which may take days or weeks to grow. If you have booked multiple sessions, we’ll use them to ensure this change becomes stronger and leads to a full and lasting transformation. Sometimes, the change is already strong enough after one session to hold until the issue is fully resolved.
What if I need more support after my session?
I offer free follow-ups for smoking cessation and am always available for additional sessions or questions. You’ll also receive check-ins at 2 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year.
Can I refer a friend or family member?
Absolutely, I have a referral program. If you’re interested in learning more, just ask me directly and I’ll be happy to share how it works.
What if I have more questions?
Feel free to contact me directly via the website’s contact form or email. I’m always happy to answer questions and help you decide if hypnotherapy or training is right for you.
